BAT-C Wireless LAN Client

IP67 client for simple WLAN applications in an industrial environment.

The BAT-C client, featuring industrial protection class IP67, allows you to set up cost-effective WLAN installations in places where there is no need for high-end devices. In other words, you pay only for the features you actually need.

With a radio module that supports both the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz frequency bands, the rugged design and compact dimensions of the BAT-C make it suitable for use in a wide range of stationary and mobile WLAN applications in industrial environments, such as manufacturing or production logistics. Due to its additional E1 approval, it can also be used to set up reliable wireless connections to Ethernet networks from buses and other vehicles.

Supporting the new IEEE 802.11n transmission standard, the BAT-C can operate at data speeds of up to 150 Mbit/s. Fast roaming permits uninterrupted connections when transferring from one radio cell to another. Further features of this WLAN client are simple configurability via a web interface and a range of management and encryption functions. What's more, the client's M12 connection technology has played a reliable role in industrial WLAN applicatons for many years.

• Robust Metal Housing - Can be installed vertically or horizontally and requires very little space due to its compact measurements.
• Operating at either 5 GHz or 2.4 GHz - The radio module's antenna connection is designed for a N-type plug.
