CONDUCTOR: Class B stranded, bare, annealed copper per ASTM B3 and B8, strand shield is an extruded semiconducting material 2. INSULATION: Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPR) per ICEA S-93-639 (NEMA WC74) 3. SHIELD:An extruded semiconducting insulation shield and then an uncoated 5-mil copper tape with 25% overlap is helically applied over the semiconducting layer 4. ASSEMBLY: The three-phase conductors are cabled with a Class B stranded ground wire and fillers to make round, a binder tape is applied overall 5. ARMOR: An impervious, corrugated continuous seam-welded aluminum alloy sheath in accordance with UL 1569, armor is pressure-tested and meets the grounding requirements of NEC Article 250 6. OVERALL JACKET: Red, sunlight-resistant Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) 7. STANDARDS:Cable shall be tested in accordance with UL 1072 requirements for Type MV-105, UL 2205 for Type MC-HL and ICEA S-93-639 (NEMA WC74). Cables meet the UL 1685 and IEEE 1202/FT4 70,000 Btu/hr and the ICEA T-29-520 210,000 Btu/hr vertical tray flame tests and are marked "for CT use". Cable meets AEIC CS-8 qualification testing requirements 8. AMPACITY: Based on a three-conductor cable isolated in air with a conductor temperature of 90°C and an ambient temperature of 40°C per NEC 310.71 9. TEMPERATURE: 90°C 10.VOLTAGE: 15 kV
