    Combine four T1 channels over a single fiber optic link with a pair of T1 Fiber Muxes. The multimode T1 mux offers simple and low-cost connectivity at up to 6.9 miles (11.1 km).

    With fiber optics, your T1 communications also receive the benefits of security, immunity against EMI and RFI, and protection against the harmful effects of ground loops.

    This 850-nm version uses 62.5-/125-µm multimode fiber optic cable.

    Each of the four T1 ports has its own set of indicators that show link status. If you have fewer than four lines running into a mux, you can disable alarm indications normally generated by an unused port.

    Comprehensive diagnostics and testing is included—there’s an automatic self-test on power-up to local and remote loopbacks. Manage the mux by connecting an ASCII terminal to its RS-232 port or by connecting it to an Ethernet network via its 10BASE-T port.
