    With selectable speeds up to 128 kbps, this line driver provides synchronous data communications over 2- or 4-wire lines and, as part of a multidrop network, can support up to 64 devices.

    Your data travels at up to 128 kbps with the BLACK BOX® RS-232/RS-485 Multipoint Line Driver (LD485S-MP) to up to 64 locations!

    With its RS-485 line interface, this driver delivers reliable signals, even in the most demanding shop environments—conveyor belts, time clocks, and more.

    And the LD485S-MP is just as reliable in tail circuits, too. You get less jitter in Receive clocking, a range of Transmit-clock select options, and delayed RTS/CTS settings.

    Front-panel LEDs indicate flow-control status. And three front-panel pushbuttons perform line and digital loopback testing.

    Choose a standalone model or a rackmount card. Use the card with our 16-Card Interface Converter Rack (RM005).
