    This card enables you to control your Automatic Switching System remotely via a browser, an ASCII interface, or SNMP software, or locally by manually switching paths.

    NOTE: These cards work with the SM540A Configuration Software (order separately), which runs on your LAN and through its point-and-click GUI, gives you customized PC switching control of the system’s cards—and even enables you to switch and monitor multiple chassis.

    NOTE: The 12-VAC card (SM533-C) requires an SM514A-PS, SM514A-PS-E, or SM535A in the chassis.
