metal-sheathed cables, Belden provides
the installer with a flexible, low-cost and
readily-available alternative to current
aftermarket products. The line consists
of ten of Belden’s essential and
top-performing communication cables —
all provided in 1,000 ft. continuous lengths.
As a further aid to the installer, custom
designed products are available from Belden
authorized distributors as special requests.

A Top-quality Alternative to Conduit

Belden’s metal-sheathed aluminum
interlocked armor (AIA) products represent
a cost-effective way to install cabling for
building management systems while also
achieving the benefits of a conduit
installation. The metal sheath protects
the cable mechanically, keeping circuits
in a nearly oxygen deprived environment —
denying fuel from any fire and minimizing
the potential fuel load. Belden’s metal
sheathed products can also be installed
much faster than EMT conduit and
conventional wire.
