3M K6 “one click“ 資訊插座，不需使用傳統 110 及任何壓接工具，並具有防線路鬆脫壓線蓋及固定式扣環強化抗拉能力，其性能符合並超過現TIA提議Cat.6 性能要求，可支援現有及提議網路用性能要求如10/100BASE-Tx、155/622Mbps ATM及Gigabit Ethernet、16Mbps Token Ring。符合EIA/TIA 568 Cat6 ( Draft ) 、ISO/IEC 11081 Class E ( Draft ) 、EN50173、EN50167、EN50169、EN55022規範需求。適用22～26AWG實心線，採用EIA標示適現場依T568A或T568B方式用手直接壓接安裝。資訊插座具內建之防塵蓋，可於RJ-45接頭插入與拔出時自動開啟、關閉。

The 3MTM VolitionTM K6 RJ45 jack design guarantees consistent and
repeatable results. The K6 jack can be reused many times.
The integral shutter protects the contacts from dirt and dust and ensures
reliability.

Associated with the Volition K6 RJ45 jack are system components and
accessories (e.g. cable, patch cords, outlets, patch panels...) optimized for
maximum system performance and reliability.

The new K6 jack is our ultimate Cat. 6 hardware component (ISO/IEC
11801 and ANSI/TIA/EIA-568B.2-1), with Keystone mounting. The K6 jack
is a core product in our system solution, which includes a comprehensive
range of Keystone patch panels, sockets and faceplates, Cat. 6 patch
cords and cables.
