介面規範設計的廠家產品做互換組裝。產品全體由EPDM 成型而成，內半導層
及外半導層中間有絕緣橡膠，接地眼的設計可供連接接地銅線連接，達到接地的
效果。
產品選擇有長型及短型兩種規格，差別在於內半導螺栓設計，用戶可依據需要選擇。

Application

The Chard 600 amp 15/25 kV insulated cap meets all requirements of IEEE standard 386 – 2009. It provides insulated, fully shielded submersible protection for 15 and 25 kV class deadbreak interfaces and is fully interchangeable with competitors products that also meet IEEE standard 386.

The Chard insulated cap design incorporates peroxide cured, EPDM insulation rubber, and a semi-conducting insert and outer shield. The outer conductive shield maintains ground potential on the caps surface when a grounding wire is connected to a common ground.
