Today’s wireless protocols dictate the need
for large, yet flexible coaxial cables that are
precisely engineered for superior transmission
quality and reliability. To meet these demanding
construction and performance needs,
Belden offers RF500 and RF600 Low Loss
50-ohm Radio Frequency Coaxial cables.
RF500 and RF600 cables are ideal for use as
antenna jumper cable assemblies and short
antenna feeder runs in communication systems
such as Wireless local loop (WLL), Land
Mobile Radio, PCS and cellular. They also can
be used for in-building wireless applications
such as internal communication systems, wireless
LANs (WLANS/Wi-Fi), and diversity antennas
for wireless microphones. These cables are
also an excellent choice for any application
above 30 MHz including FM and TV broadcast,
FM and TV repeaters, translators, low-power
stations, and community broadcasting.
Rugged, Yet Lightweight Construction
RF500 and RF600 cables meet industry size
standards with diameters of 0.500 inches
(RF500) and 0.590 inches (RF600) and they
are comprised of a copper-clad aluminum
center conductor, the highest quality foamed
high density polyethylene (FHDPE) insulation,
an aluminum foil and tinned copper braid
composite shield, and a choice of either
PE or PVC jacket.
This construction is the optimum combination
for a lightweight, low loss, low VSWR, high
velocity of propagation, and superior
EMI/RFI cable.
The cables also are 100% sweep tested for
VSWR and exhibit excellent phase stability
over both temperature changes and repeated
flexing conditions — resulting in unsurpassed
signal integrity and electrical performance.
