Peel® unjacketed construction delivers ease of
installation and reliable performance in largescreen
video, HDTV, CAD and special effects video

and higher-resolution graphics applications. In

Belden offers Mini Hi-Res coax in jacketed or Banana Peel constructions.
Jacketed constructions are more protective of the individual coaxes because
of the overall jacket. Banana Peel is Belden’s patented technology where each
cable is bundled and affixed to a center spline, eliminating the need for an overall
jacket. During installation, the installer can peel each component away from the
center for easier termination. Banana Peel has a smaller OD, occupies less space
in the conduit and has a better bend radius than traditional jacketed products.
