SPECIFICATIONS
1. CONDUCTOR:Class B stranded, bare, annealed copper per ASTM B3 and B8
2. INSULATION: Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLP) meeting the requirements of ICEA S-95-658 (NEMA WC70) and Type XHHW requirements of UL 44. Conductors are identified per
ICEA S-58-679, using Method 3, Table 2 for sizes AWG 4 and larger, and using Method 1, Table 2 for sizes AWG 6 and smaller
3. ASSEMBLY: The conductors and ground wires are cabled with fillers to make round
4. ARMOR: An impervious, corrugated continuous seam-welded aluminum alloy sheath in accordance with UL 1569. Armor is pressure-tested and meets the grounding
requirements of NEC Article 250
5. OVERALL JACKET: Black, sunlight-resistant Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC)
6. STANDARDS: Cables are marked "for CT use" and pass the UL 1685, IEEE 1202/CSA FT4 70,000 Btu/hr and the ICEA T-29-520 210,000 Btu/hr flame test. Individual conductors
are UL Listed Type XHHW per UL 44 and completed cables are UL Listed Type MC-HL UL 2225 per UL 2225
7. AMPACITY:Not more than three conductors in raceway or cable or earth based on an ambient temperature of 30°C per Article 310.16 of the 2008 NEC
8. TEMPERATURE: 90°C
9. VOLTAGE: 600
APPLICATIONS
Primary power and lighting circuits in manufacturing and processing plants, feeders in industrial and commercial distribution systems. May be directly buried or installed in
cable tray or raceway. Can be used in Classes I, II and III, Division 1 and 2, hazardous locations covered under NEC Articles 501, 502 and 503.
