    FLAME RETARDANT, XLPE / PVC COMMUNICATION AND SIGNAL CABLE

    CABLE STRUCTURE
    1- CONDUCTOR : Electrolytic, stranded, annealed copper wire IEC 60228 Class 2 (Class 5 and/or tinned on request).

    2- INSULATION : Crosslinked polyethylen compound (XLPE). Layup : Cores laid up in pair, pairs laid up concentrically.

    3- SEPARATOR : Separating foil below screen.

     4- SCREEN : Electrolytic copper braided screen (90% coverage).

    5- OUTER SHEATH : Flame retardant and oil resistant PVC based compound. (ST2). Color : Dark Grey.

    FLAME RETARDATION : IEC 60332 /1, IEC 60332 / 3

    APPLICATION

    as control and communication cables in radio, radar and information systems, placed deck blow of marine vehicles. Its twisted pairs enables proper transmission of high frequency signals, while its overall screen minimizes electromagnetic interference environmentally.

    ENVIRONMENT

    Usable at all conditions in marine environment such as dry, wet or oily locations.

    SAFETY

    Due to its flame retardant feature, the part which directly contacts with fire will burn but the flame will not spread along the cable length. Thus it prevents the fire from spreading around.
