    Merge data from up to 24 async RS-232 devices onto a single duplex fiber cable with the Async Fiber Optic Mux-24. It has eight RS-232 ports. And with a 3-to-1 Adapter Cable, you can attach 3 devices to each mux port for a total of 24.

    The mux supports 115.2-kbps applications. In fact, each channel supports speeds of up to 142 kbps! The fiber optic part of the circuit is completely transparent, so each RS-232 channel operates independently in full-duplex. The fiber link gives you the flexibility to simplify your network’s cabling and reduce cabling costs.

    NOTE: Must be used in pairs.
